Naimisha Forest Satsang

Naimisha Forest -Naimiṣāraṇya - is the sacred and ancient forest, the meeting place of countless sages and sadhikas.

It is located in current day Sitapur along the Gomti River in UP India. Referenced in innumerable sacred texts, it is also the source of many important texts.
The Lalitopkahyana was first narrated in Naimisha and many important Puranas were compiled there. One myth says that it existed since the Satya Yuga in a subliminal realm to the earth and was moved to the earth at the dawning of the Kali yuga. 60,000 sages were said to have lived and practiced here. And with the dawning of the Kali yuga, many of the most illustrious rishis took refuge in the heart of this forest. Fearful what the age of decay, corruption and rampant fear would bring they gathered here for sadhana and to listen to the stories of the great sages.

In Naimisha forest, practices to Tripura Sundari are said to be offered
continuously by the most adept sages and yogin/is.
The whole forest awashed by the sacred Gomti River with the energy gathering in the circular lake at the center is said to be the one place where the effects of Kali yuga don’t take hold. Therefore it is a favored place for sadhana.

In the satsang sessions, we will attune to the energy of this sacred grove of Tripura Sundari and the rishis. We will meditate, hear stories and Maa Parvathi will respond to questions, time permitting.

Enjoy immersing in the stories that comforted the hearts of the sages.

Perhaps they can give comfort and guidance to us as well.

*The first Satsang will take place on August 19th, 2021 at 2 PM NYC-Time.
